We are currently seeking a confident and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Basildon for an immediate start.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who has strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and can quickly establish positive relationships with pupils and staff. The position offers the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.
The Role
- Teaching a Year 5 class and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.
- Planning, preparing and assessing pupils' work in line with national expectations.
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum.
- Confident in planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Committed, reliable and passionate about pupil progress.
