Qualified Nursery Room Leader

You're already brilliant at supporting children to learn, grow, and thrive. Now it's time to take the lead.

We're working with a number of highly regarded nurseries across Bath and Bristol that are looking for passionate, experienced Room Leaders to join their teams.

This is more than overseeing a room. It's about creating an environment where children feel safe, curious, and excited to learn. It's about supporting your team, leading by example, and helping shape the early experiences that can have a lifelong impact.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Room Leader, you'll play a key role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment where every child can flourish.

Your day could include:

Leading a team of Early Years Practitioners and supporting their development

Planning exciting, play-based learning opportunities in line with the EYFS framework

Tracking children's progress and celebrating their achievements

Building positive relationships with parents and carers

Creating engaging learning spaces that spark imagination and curiosity

️ Ensuring safeguarding, wellbeing, and welfare standards are consistently maintained

✨ Supporting children to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning

Who We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

✅ A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or higher)

✅ Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting

✅ Leadership experience, or the confidence and ambition to step into a leadership role

✅ A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum

✅ Excellent communication and organisational skills

✅ A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach

✅ A genuine passion for helping young children thrive

✅ What We Need to Clear You

• Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
• Two proofs of address
• CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any gaps explained
• Two years of references, including recent childcare or Early Years experience where applicable
• Overseas police check if you've lived abroad for 3 months or more in the last 5 years
