We're working with a fantastic SEND school in Bath that's looking for compassionate, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their team this September.
Whether you've worked in care, supported children with special educational needs, or have experience helping people with additional needs in another setting, your skills could make a huge impact in the classroom.
No two days are the same, but every day is rewarding.
Your role will include:
- Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and a range of additional learning needs
- Working 1:1 and with small groups to help pupils access learning
- Encouraging independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing
- Using positive behaviour strategies to create a calm and supportive environment
- Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider school team
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience working in care or supporting children or adults with SEND
- A calm, patient and empathetic approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence supporting pupils with varying needs and abilities
- A genuine passion for helping young people thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
