We're working with a welcoming secondary school in Bradford that is looking for an Art Technician to join their team for the full academic year starting September 2026. You'll be part of a supportive department where creativity is encouraged, resources are valued, and staff work together to create an inspiring learning environment.
Whether you're an experienced Art Technician or someone with a strong art background looking to move into education, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact behind the scenes and in the classroom.
What you'll be doing:
- Preparing materials, equipment, and resources for Art and Design lessons
- Supporting teachers and students during practical activities
- Maintaining art studios, equipment, and displays
- Managing stock levels and ordering materials when required
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed within the department
- Assisting with exhibitions, showcases, and creative projects across the school

What we're looking for:
- Previous experience working in an Art Technician role or a strong background in Art and Design
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence preparing and maintaining art materials and equipment
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting the department
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- A genuine passion for creativity and education
