Are you a passionate and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or a qualified teacher (QTS) looking for a rewarding part-time role in a supportive primary school environment?

We are seeking an exceptional practitioner to join a school in Bradley Stoke, working across the primary phase to support teaching and learning. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality lessons during teachers' PPA time, support pupil achievement, and make a meaningful impact on children's educational journeys.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons across the primary age range.
  • Lead whole-class teaching during teachers' PPA time.
  • Create positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environments.
  • Support pupils of all abilities to achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff and wider school teams.
  • Contribute positively to all aspects of school life.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning and achievement.

This role would suit an experienced HLTA with a recognised HLTA qualification, or a qualified teacher with QTS seeking a flexible, part-time position.

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised HLTA qualification.
  • Has experience working within a primary school setting.
  • Can confidently plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and personally.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity and enthusiasm.
  • Works effectively as part of a team.
  • Has high expectations of themselves and others.

Essential Requirement

This position requires the ability to communicate confidently and effectively with pupils, parents and colleagues through clear spoken English.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
