Graduated this year and wondering what's next?
If you're looking ahead to January and feeling uninspired by traditional graduate schemes, office jobs, or endless applications, why not start the year doing something genuinely meaningful?
Protocol Education is working with welcoming schools across Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas to recruit motivated graduates for a range of classroom support positions starting in January 2027.
Whether you're considering teaching, educational psychology, counselling, youth work, social care, or simply looking for valuable experience while you plan your next steps, education can open more doors than you might expect.
The best part? Your degree doesn't need to be Education-related.
We've successfully placed graduates from:
- Psychology
- Criminology
- Sociology
- Sport Science
- Business
- English
- History
- Politics
- Health & Social Care
- And many more
What matters most is your attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to support young people.
What Will You Be Doing?
Forget making coffees or sitting behind a desk all day.
You'll play an active role in helping children learn, develop confidence and overcome challenges.
You could be:

- Helping pupils stay engaged and focused during lessons
- Working alongside teachers to create positive learning experiences
- Delivering small-group interventions
- Supporting children's social, emotional and academic development
- Becoming a trusted adult who helps pupils succeed both inside and outside the classroom
Every day is different, and every day makes a difference.
Who Are We Looking For?
You don't need previous school experience to get started.
You might be:
- A recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience
- Exploring a future in education, psychology or youth work
- Interested in SEND and child development
- Calm, resilient and adaptable
- Confident communicating with a range of people
- Passionate about helping others reach their potential

If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
