We are looking for enthusiastic and caring Nursery Teaching Assistants to work flexibly within a welcoming Early Years setting in North Bristol.

The role

You’ll support children within an Early Years environment where play and exploration are at the heart of learning, with engaging, well-resourced activities designed to encourage curiosity, independence and development.

Your day could include:

• Supporting children through play-based and child-led learning
• Setting up creative, sensory and practical activities
• Encouraging communication, confidence and independence
• Supporting children’s social and emotional development
• Working alongside experienced Early Years practitioners and teachers
• Helping create a safe, positive and engaging environment

The setting values each child as an individual and aims to give children strong foundations for their future learning and development.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is enthusiastic, patient and nurturing
• Enjoys working with young children
• Can get involved with messy play, stories, outdoor learning and creative activities
• Is reliable and able to work well as part of a team
• Has previous nursery, EYFS or childcare experience, although relevant transferable experience will also be considered
