Protocol Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school to recruit an enthusiastic and adaptable Qualified Primary Teacher to provide PPA cover four days per week from January 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys teaching across different year groups and wants to broaden their experience within a supportive school environment. The Role

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you'll work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, delivering engaging lessons that keep learning on track while class teachers undertake their planning, preparation, and assessment time.

You will:

• Deliver high-quality lessons across a range of year groups
• Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment
• Adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families
• Support children's academic, social, and emotional development
• Maintain continuity and high expectations throughout the school
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure positive outcomes for every child

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Is passionate about primary education
• Can confidently deliver engaging lessons across the curriculum
• Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
• Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Can adapt teaching to meet a variety of learning needs
• Is reflective, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional development
• Enjoys being part of a wider school community

ECTs and experienced teachers are equally encouraged to apply.

What We Need to Clear You

To get you registered and ready for work, we'll need:

• Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
• Two proofs of address
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment and/or education, with any gaps explained
• References covering the last two years, including education references where applicable
• An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for three months or more within the last five years
