A welcoming and diverse primary school in BS13 is looking for enthusiastic, multilingual individuals to join their support team and help children thrive both academically and socially.

Many pupils within the school speak English as an Additional Language (EAL), and your language skills could make a huge difference. Whether you're helping a child understand new concepts, settle into school life, or build confidence communicating with others, you'll play an important role in helping them feel included, supported, and ready to learn.

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering a future in education, youth work, social care, or community-focused roles, while using their language skills in a meaningful and rewarding way.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where needed
• Helping children build confidence, communication skills, and independence
• Working alongside teachers and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
• Encouraging pupils to engage positively with learning and school life

Pay & Benefits

£92-£95 per day, paid weekly via PAYE
• Flexible work opportunities to fit around your schedule
• Valuable classroom experience within a supportive primary school
• Free access to our CPD Academy, including SEND, behaviour, and classroom support training
• Ongoing support from a dedicated Bristol-based consultant

What We're Looking For

• Someone who speaks one or more languages in addition to English
• A positive, patient, and supportive approach when working with children
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence supporting pupils from a range of backgrounds and experiences
• An interest in education, child development, or community support
• Previous experience with children is beneficial but not essential

Why This School?

• A welcoming primary school in BS13 7TJ with a strong sense of community
• Diverse classrooms where language skills are genuinely valued
• Supportive staff who work together to help every child succeed
• Opportunities to make a real impact on pupils' confidence, wellbeing, and learning
• A school that celebrates inclusion, diversity, and cultural understanding

What We Need to Clear You

• 2 proofs of address
• CV covering the last 10 years of work or education, with any explained gaps
• Two years of references, including childcare, voluntary, or community work where applicable
• Overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more in the past 5 years

If you're ready to use your language skills to make a real difference in a local BS13 primary school, we'd love to hear from you.
