The Role

You will:

• Support children aged 0-5 in their learning, play, and daily routines
• Help create a safe, stimulating, and engaging nursery environment
• Encourage children's social, emotional, and language development
• Lead and participate in creative activities, storytelling, outdoor play, and messy play
• Support positive behaviour through encouragement and play-based learning
• Build warm and trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Work alongside experienced Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Staff
• Follow safeguarding procedures and promote children's welfare at all times

Who We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from people who:

• Have a genuine passion for working with young children
• Are caring, patient, and positive in their approach
• Enjoy getting involved in creative activities, games, and imaginative play
• Are reliable, flexible, and work well as part of a team
• Have strong communication skills
• Have experience working with children, whether through childcare, education, volunteering, youth work, or personal experience

Desirable but Not Essential

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous nursery or childcare experience
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework

What We Need to Clear You

• A valid passport or proof of your right to work in the UK
• Two proofs of address
• A CV covering the last 10 years of work and/or education history, with any gaps explained
• References covering the last two years, including childcare or education settings where applicable
• An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more within the last 5 years
