Are you a passionate Primary Supply Teacher looking for flexible day-to-day work across Bristol?

Are you confident teaching across Key Stage 2?

Would working as a Primary Supply Teacher across different local schools give you the flexibility you are looking for?

Protocol Education is proud to be working with a number of mainstream primary schools across North Bristol. We are looking to recruit reliable supply teachers for regular day-to-day cover for the new academic year.

The role involves providing cover for planned and last-minute absence across a variety of primary schools. You will be expected to deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain positive behaviour, follow school safeguarding procedures and ensure pupils remain engaged throughout the school day.

This role is ideal for teachers wanting flexibility, ECTs looking to gain experience across different settings or experienced teachers who no longer want to commit to a permanent five-day teaching week.

Role requirements:

  • UK QTS

  • Experience teaching within a UK primary school

  • Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum

  • Confident classroom and behaviour management

  • A good understanding of safeguarding procedures

  • A positive, flexible and adaptable approach

In return for the above you can expect to receive:

  • A dedicated team of consultants

  • CPD courses and certificates through our CPD academy

  • Market leading rates of pay

  • Flexible work around your availability

  • Opportunities for long-term and permanent positions

  • Teacher referral scheme

Our staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of TAX and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.

Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.
We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
