The Role

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will:

Support the day-to-day management of the nursery.
Assume responsibility for the setting in the Nursery Manager's absence.
Lead and support staff to deliver outstanding early years education and care.
Conduct room walks, observations, audits, and quality assurance checks.
Support staff development through coaching, supervision, and performance management.
Ensure safeguarding procedures and welfare requirements are consistently followed.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and professionals.
Support curriculum delivery in line with the EYFS.
Monitor health and safety, risk assessments, and compliance across the nursery.
Assist with nursery administration, staffing, and operational processes.

About You

To be considered, you will have:

A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
At least 2 years' experience in an early years setting.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development.
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
A proactive approach to supporting staff and driving quality improvement.
A genuine passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children.
