We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Year 1 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school community in Chesterfield. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational teacher who is passionate about helping children develop a lifelong love of learning.

About the Role
As our Year 1 teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire and motivate pupils.
- Foster a nurturing, inclusive classroom where every child feels valued and supported.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Assess, monitor and celebrate children's progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has a secure understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and the transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Is committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
- Has high expectations for achievement, behaviour and wellbeing.
- Is enthusiastic, organised and a strong team player.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
