We’re working with a friendly and well-established 2 form entry primary school in Colchester looking to recruit a Year 5 Teacher to start in September. This is a temp to perm opportunity, offering long-term stability for the right person.

About the role:

You’ll be taking full responsibility for a Year 5 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, while supporting pupils’ academic progress and personal development. You’ll be working alongside a parallel teacher, giving you strong opportunities for collaboration and shared planning.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (ideally Year 5)
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • A positive, proactive approach with a passion for teaching
  • Ability to work well as part of a team in a 2 form entry setting
