  • Building positive relationships with pupils.
  • Supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs.
  • Helping pupils regulate their emotions.
  • Supporting pupils when they become dysregulated.
  • Helping identify triggers and appropriate coping strategies.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and communication.

  • Calm under pressure.
  • Resilient and consistent.
  • Confident building relationships.
  • Comfortable working with challenging behaviour.
  • Positive and encouraging.
  • Able to maintain professional boundaries.
  • Passionate about supporting young people.

Experience is a bonus, not a requirement.

Previous experience in SEMH, SEND, PRU, alternative provision, youth work, residential care, mentoring, sports coaching or behaviour support would be advantageous.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the right personality, patience and willingness to make a difference.
