A caring and supportive SEND School in Newcastle is looking for dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team and help pupils overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and celebrate every achievement along the way.

This is a role for someone who understands that progress isn't always measured in grades. Sometimes it's a child joining an activity they've previously avoided, regulating their emotions independently, or simply walking into school with a smile.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Speech and Language Needs, and other additional needs
• Working 1:1 and in small groups within specialist classrooms
• Using sensory strategies and visual supports to aid learning
• Promoting emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills
• Working closely with teachers, therapists, and families

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
