Protocol Education is recruiting a Speech & Language Support Assistant for a specialist setting in Gosforth.

Location: Gosforth
Contract: Full-Time

About the Role

The school supports pupils with speech, language and communication needs alongside Autism and additional learning difficulties.

You will work closely with teaching staff and therapists to support communication development and help pupils access learning successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting speech and language interventions
Working with pupils on a 1:1 basis
Encouraging communication and interaction
Supporting classroom learning
Monitoring pupil progress
Promoting confidence and independence

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
