Maths Teacher – Long-Term Placement

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join an Outstanding alternative provision school in Hammersmith on a full-time, long-term basis.

The school supports young people aged 11–16 who may have experienced challenges or disruption within mainstream education. It provides a calm, structured and supportive environment where high expectations, strong relationships and personalised learning are central to helping students succeed.

The role:

• Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
• Support students working towards recognised qualifications including GCSEs
• Build positive relationships with students and promote high expectations
• Work closely with colleagues and the pastoral team to support student progress
• Contribute to a structured and inclusive learning environment

The ideal Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher with strong Maths subject knowledge
• Experience teaching secondary Maths
• Confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships
• Adaptable and committed to supporting students with a range of needs
• Passionate about helping young people re-engage with education
• Experience within alternative provision or SEND is desirable but not essential
