Maths Teacher – Long-Term Placement

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join an Outstanding alternative provision school in Hammersmith on a full-time, long-term basis.
The school supports young people aged 11–16 who may have experienced challenges or disruption within mainstream education. It provides a calm, structured and supportive environment where high expectations, strong relationships and personalised learning are central to helping students succeed.
The role:
- Teach Maths across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support students working towards recognised qualifications including GCSEs
- Build positive relationships with students and promote high expectations
- Work closely with colleagues and the pastoral team to support student progress
- Contribute to a structured and inclusive learning environment

The ideal Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher with strong Maths subject knowledge
- Experience teaching secondary Maths
- Confident managing behaviour and building positive relationships
- Adaptable and committed to supporting students with a range of needs
- Passionate about helping young people re-engage with education
- Experience within alternative provision or SEND is desirable but not essential

The school is located in Hammersmith and is easily accessible by public transport. Hammersmith Station is nearby with District, Piccadilly and Circle line services. Multiple bus routes also serve the area.
