A welcoming primary school in Heaton is seeking a Trainee SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2 with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD and communication difficulties.

Pay: £92.63 - £102 per day
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Helping learners stay engaged throughout lessons
- Promoting confidence and independence
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Assisting with interventions and classroom activities
- Working closely with teachers and the SEND team
