The Role

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support students who require additional behavioural and emotional support.
  • Build positive, professional relationships with young people.
  • Help students develop confidence, resilience and self-regulation skills.
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
  • Deliver one-to-one and small-group interventions.
  • Support students with SEMH needs, Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams and safeguarding staff.
  • Act as a positive role model throughout the school day.
