The Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students with SEND on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
• Assist pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Dyslexia and other additional learning needs.
• Work closely with teachers to adapt learning activities and interventions.
• Help students develop confidence, independence and resilience.
• Support emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour strategies.
• Encourage engagement and participation in lessons.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams and SEND professionals.
• Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
