The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with SEND on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Assist pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Dyslexia and other additional learning needs.
- Work closely with teachers to adapt learning activities and interventions.
- Help students develop confidence, independence and resilience.
- Support emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour strategies.
- Encourage engagement and participation in lessons.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams and SEND professionals.
- Create a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
