Looking for a rewarding SEND role where no two days are the same?
A specialist school in Hexham is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, complex learning needs and communication difficulties.
Due to the school's rural location and limited public transport links, a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
Location: Hexham
Pay: £92.63 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term
Essential: Driver with access to own vehicle
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils throughout the school day
- Providing 1:1 and small-group support
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Supporting communication and interaction
- Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation
- Working alongside teachers and therapy teams
