SEND Teaching Assistant – Jesmond (Full-Time)
Could you help children overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential?
A supportive primary school in Jesmond is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties.
The school has a strong reputation for inclusion and is looking for someone who can provide patience, consistency and encouragement to pupils who need additional support.
Location: Jesmond
Pay: £92.63 - £102 per day
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with SEND needs
- Providing 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Encouraging engagement and participation
- Supporting social and emotional development
- Promoting independence and confidence
- Working closely with teachers and the SENDCo

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
