What You'll Be Doing

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classrooms
• Work alongside experienced teachers and support staff
• Deliver learning activities with individuals and small groups
• Help pupils develop confidence, communication, and engagement
• Support children with varying learning needs and abilities
• Encourage positive behaviour and participation
• Assist with creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Gain first-hand experience of day-to-day school life

This role offers an excellent foundation for anyone considering teaching, educational psychology, youth work, SEN support, or broader careers within education.

Previous school experience isn't essential. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting children are what matter most.

What We Need to Clear You

To get you registered and ready for work, we'll need:

• A valid passport or proof of your right to work in the UK
• Two proofs of address, such as a driving licence, utility bill, council tax statement, or P45/P60
• A CV covering the last 10 years of work and/or education history, with any gaps explained
• Two years of references, including academic, employment, voluntary, or childcare references where applicable
• An enhanced DBS check (we can help arrange this)
• An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for 3 months or more within the last 5 years
