Protocol Education is working in partnership with a warm and welcoming primary school in the BS31 area to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from November 2026.

The Role

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Support pupils as they develop their reading, writing, and mathematical skills
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where children feel confident to learn and grow
• Differentiate learning effectively to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
• Assess progress and provide targeted support to help every child reach their potential
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to promote pupil success
• Encourage resilience, independence, and a lifelong love of learning

A Bit About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
• Delivers engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire learning
• Has excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Builds positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
• Can effectively support a range of learning needs, including SEND
• Is passionate about helping children achieve both academically and personally
• Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the classroom every day

What We Need to Clear You

To get you registered and ready for work, we'll need:

• Passport or proof of right to work in the UK
• Two proofs of address
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment and/or education, with any gaps explained
• References covering the last two years, including education or childcare roles where applicable
• An overseas police check if you have lived abroad for three months or more within the last five years
