Are you a patient, empathetic, and caring individual who is passionate about supporting children with SEND?

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school, helping pupils with additional needs feel safe, understood, and confident in their learning. In this role, patience and compassion are essential. Every child learns differently, and your ability to build trust, provide encouragement, and remain calm and consistent will make a lasting difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Adapt learning to meet individual needs
  • Promote communication, independence, and social development
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN professionals
  • Celebrate progress and achievements, no matter how small

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with SEND, including ASD, PMLD, or complex needs
  • A patient, nurturing, and understanding approach
  • Strong communication skills and genuine empathy
  • The ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support
  • A passion for helping every child reach their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
