We are seeking enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school local to BS30 for the full academic year. Opportunities are available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with a primary focus on providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and small group learning activities.
  • Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
  • Work closely with teachers, SEND staff and families.
  • Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage independence, resilience and confidence in all learners.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children, ideally within a school or SEN setting.
  • Is patient, nurturing and adaptable.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
  • Understands the importance of inclusion and child-centred practice.
  • Is committed to helping every child succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
