Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity | Greater Manchester

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering major projects across the Northwest.

Location: Greater Manchester
Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + package
Position: Permanent | Full-time

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of work across highways, utilities, infrastructure, and public realm projects.

Key responsibilities:

- Managing the commercial aspects of multiple civil engineering projects
- Preparing and managing valuations, variations, and final accounts
- Subcontractor procurement and account management
- Supporting project delivery teams with commercial advice and reporting
- Monitoring project costs, forecasts, and budgets
- Ensuring compliance with NEC contracts and commercial procedures

Requirements:

- Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Previous experience working within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts
- Experience managing subcontractor accounts and project cost reporting
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment
