We’re working with a number of friendly, community-led primary schools in Mangotsfield who are looking for Teaching Assistants to jump in and support when they need it most. Whether you’re after a couple of days a week or something a bit more regular, we’ll keep things flexible and work around you.

What you’ll be doing

No two days are quite the same, and that’s part of the fun.

You might be:

  • Supporting whole classes or working in small groups
  • Providing 1:1 support where needed
  • Helping pupils stay engaged, focused and confident in their learning
  • Stepping in to keep things running smoothly on those busy school days

You’ll be part of a team that values support staff properly, not just an extra pair of hands.

What we’re looking for

You’re reliable, approachable and ready to get stuck in.

You’ll need:

  • Experience working with primary-aged children
  • SEN experience preferred
  • A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt quickly
  • Confidence building relationships with pupils and staff

The essentials

  • Two years of references covering recent employment
  • Enhanced child-only DBS on the update service
  • Flexibility to take on ad hoc or part-time work

Why this role works

  • Choose when you work, ideal for fitting around other commitments
  • Variety of schools and experiences across your local area
  • Great way to build experience or ease back into education

A little extra from us

  • Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella companies
  • Free CPD, including SEND-focused training
  • A consultant who keeps things simple and actually listens
