SEN Teacher Required in New Malden

Are you a committed and inspiring SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding role where you can make a lasting impact? We are currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in the New Malden area.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, SEMH needs, and Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering personalised learning experiences that help every child thrive.

The Role:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs
Support students with a variety of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists, parents, and external professionals
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive educational outcomes

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
