Protocol Education is seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work within a supportive secondary school in North Tyneside. This role is ideal for graduates, youth workers, sports coaches and support workers looking to build experience in education.

The Role

You will:

Support students displaying challenging behaviour.
Build positive and trusting relationships with young people.
Promote engagement, attendance and positive learning habits.
Support behaviour interventions and restorative approaches.
Work alongside pastoral and safeguarding teams.
Help students develop confidence and resilience.

We're Looking For

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A calm and professional approach.
The ability to remain positive in challenging situations.
Experience supporting young people is beneficial but not essential.
