Are you an Occupational Therapist, OT graduate or therapy professional looking to apply your skills in a school setting? Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate 1:1 SEND Support Assistant to support a Reception pupil within a primary school in the Fawdon area.

This supportive primary school is committed to providing tailored support to pupils with additional needs and values professionals who understand the importance of child-centred practice.
 
What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting a Reception pupil throughout the school day.
  • Assisting the child to access learning and classroom activities.
  • Encouraging independence and confidence within daily routines.
  • Supporting sensory, social and emotional development.
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
Who We're Looking For
  • Occupational Therapists, OT graduates or therapy assistants.
  • Individuals with knowledge of child development and SEND.
  • Professionals who can adapt support to meet individual needs.
  • Caring and patient individuals who enjoy working with young children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
