Psychology Graduate SEND Assistant – Newcastle upon Tyne (Full-Time)

A specialist school in Newcastle upon Tyne is looking for a Psychology Graduate SEND Assistant to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, SEMH and communication difficulties.

This role offers valuable experience working alongside experienced professionals and is a fantastic stepping stone into child-focused careers.

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: £92.63 - £105 per day
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis
  • Assisting with behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Delivering targeted interventions
  • Supporting communication development
  • Encouraging engagement and participation
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists
