Looking for flexible education work that genuinely changes young people's lives?

Protocol Education is recruiting SEND Tutors to support learners across Newcastle upon Tyne who require personalised educational support outside of mainstream education.

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Flexible Hourly Bookings

About the Role

Many of the pupils you'll support have Autism, ADHD, SEMH needs, anxiety, school avoidance or EHCP requirements.

Sessions are typically delivered on a 1:1 basis and tailored to the individual needs, interests and ability levels of each learner.

This role offers the opportunity to help pupils rebuild confidence, re-engage with education and achieve positive outcomes.

Delivering personalised tuition sessions
Planning engaging learning activities
Supporting learners with SEND and SEMH needs
Building confidence and engagement
Monitoring progress and achievements
Supporting educational goals and outcomes
Working collaboratively with families and professionals

We're Looking For

Qualified Teachers or experienced Tutors
SEND experience desirable
Strong communication skills
Flexible and adaptable approach
Passion for supporting vulnerable learners

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
