Protocol Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work across Primary, Secondary and SEND schools throughout Durham and Sunderland. The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers and school staff to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom. You'll help create a positive learning environment, build pupils' confidence and provide the support they need to engage with their education.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
• Assisting with classroom activities and lesson delivery
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Helping pupils develop confidence and independence
• Supporting students with additional learning needs where required
• Building positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Contributing to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

Who We're Looking For

Experience working with children or young people is beneficial but not essential. We welcome applications from those with backgrounds in education, childcare, coaching, youth work, support work, residential care and customer-facing roles.
