You'll help pupils to:

  • Build confidence and independence
  • Develop communication and social skills
  • Feel safe, supported and understood
  • Engage positively with learning
  • Reach personal and educational goals

Your Responsibilities

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
  • Supporting communication and interaction throughout the school day
  • Implementing personalised strategies and support plans
  • Encouraging engagement in learning activities
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and transitions
  • Promoting independence, resilience and confidence

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for people who are patient, understanding and passionate about supporting children and young people.

Experience within education, care, youth work, coaching, mentoring, residential care, mental health support or support work is beneficial, but not essential.

We're particularly interested in individuals who can:

  • Build strong relationships
  • Remain calm in challenging situations
  • Adapt their approach to meet individual needs
  • Act as positive and reliable role models
  • Create a supportive and inclusive environment

Why Work With Protocol Education?

  • Flexible opportunities to suit your lifestyle
