We are currently looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Assistant to join our welcoming nursery team. If you have a passion for supporting young children's learning and development and enjoy creating a positive and nurturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily care, learning, and development of children aged 0-5 years.
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
- A positive, caring, and patient attitude.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant childcare qualification is advantageous but not required.
- Enhanced DBS certificate preferred, or willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBS check before employment.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
