We are currently looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Assistant to join our welcoming nursery team. If you have a passion for supporting young children's learning and development and enjoy creating a positive and nurturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Support the daily care, learning, and development of children aged 0-5 years.
Assist in planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
Support children's social, emotional, and physical development.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
A positive, caring, and patient attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant childcare qualification is advantageous but not required.
Enhanced DBS certificate preferred, or willingness to apply for an Enhanced DBS check before employment.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
