We're working with specialist SEND schools across South Shields looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils with SLD, PMLD, Autism and complex learning needs.

No two days are the same. You'll work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and support staff to provide personalised learning experiences that help children build confidence, independence and essential life skills.

Role Information

• Full-time
• September start
• Monday-Friday
• Working hours between 8:30am and 4:30pm
• Term-time only

You'll be

• Supporting pupils academically and socially
• Assisting with communication strategies
• Delivering sensory learning activities
• Supporting emotional wellbeing
• Encouraging independence
• Recording pupil progress

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
