EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant – St Albans
Are you a passionate and nurturing Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with SEND? We are looking for a dedicated EYFS SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in St Albans.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping young children thrive and who understands the importance of creating a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
The role:
- Supporting a child/children with additional needs within an EYFS setting
- Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group support
- Helping children develop their communication, social and emotional skills
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver individualised support
- Supporting children's learning, independence and confidence
- Contributing to a positive and nurturing classroom environment
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with children with SEND, ideally within EYFS
- Is patient, caring and highly nurturing
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Can build strong relationships with children and staff
- Is proactive, adaptable and committed to helping every child achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
