Are you a Psychology, Sociology or Criminology graduate looking to gain meaningful experience working with young people?

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work full-time within secondary schools, supporting students aged 11-16. This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity for individuals considering future careers in teaching, educational psychology, social work, youth justice, counselling, mental health support or other child-focused professions.

Every day is different. You'll work closely with students who require additional support, helping them overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and achieve their potential both inside and outside the classroom.

The role will involve supporting students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, encouraging engagement with learning, promoting positive behaviour and helping create a safe and inclusive environment where young people can thrive.

We're looking for individuals who are patient, resilient, empathetic and able to build positive relationships with young people.

Why apply?

  • Gain invaluable hands-on experience in education
  • Make a genuine difference to young people's lives
  • Work alongside experienced teachers and SEND professionals
  • Excellent experience for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Teachers, Social Workers and Counsellors
  • Full-time, term-time position with consistent hours

If you're passionate about supporting young people and want a role where your work has a lasting impact, we'd love to hear from you.
