SEN Teaching Assistant Required - Sutton

The Role

Supporting pupils with physical disabilities on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting with classroom activities and adapting learning where required
Promoting independence, confidence, and social development
Supporting mobility and personal care needs where necessary
Working closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

Previous experience working with children or young people with physical disabilities
Experience within a school, SEN setting, care environment, or similar support role
Patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Requirements

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Right to work in the UK
Relevant experience supporting individuals with additional needs
