An established SME housebuilder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential developments across the Midlands is looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen its commercial team.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple residential developments while supporting and mentoring junior members of the team, helping to develop the next generation of surveyors.

The Role

• Full commercial responsibility for residential housing developments
• Preparation of budgets, cost reporting, CVRs and forecasts
• Procurement and management of subcontract packages
• Subcontractor valuations, payments and final accounts
• Pricing variations, extras and customer incentives
• Managing costs and commercial risk throughout the build process
• Producing commercial reports using COINS
• Working closely with construction, technical and operational teams
• Mentoring and supporting Assistant and Quantity Surveyors
• Providing commercial guidance and sharing best practice across the team

What We're Looking For

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience within residential housebuilding
• Previous experience using COINS software is essential
• Strong commercial awareness and financial management skills
• Experience mentoring or managing junior surveyors
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
• Full UK driving licence

• Up to £70,000 basic salary
