Protocol Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support a pupil within a primary school in Watford.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a genuine difference to a child's confidence, progress and day-to-day school experience.
The role:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil throughout the school day
- Help the pupil access and engage with classroom learning
- Work closely with the class teacher and wider support team
- Adapt activities and provide additional encouragement where needed
- Support the pupil's social, emotional and behavioural development
- Promote independence, confidence and positive relationships
- Assist with maintaining a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people
- Is patient, empathetic and nurturing
- Can build a positive and trusting relationship with pupils
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Is confident supporting children with additional learning or behavioural needs
- Is proactive and willing to adapt their approach to individual needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
