Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant ready to take the next step in your career? Do you have the confidence to lead learning, support teachers, and inspire pupils to achieve their full potential?

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming and supportive school in Wimbledon. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school while making a positive impact on pupils' educational journeys.

The Role

  • Deliver planned lessons and activities in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Support pupils across a range of year groups and abilities.
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Provide targeted interventions for individuals and small groups.
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds HLTA status or has significant experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Has experience supporting learning within a primary or secondary school setting.
  • Is confident leading classes and delivering pre-planned lessons.
  • Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Is proactive, adaptable, and able to work independently.
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
