The Role

Position: Teaching Assistant

Contract: Full-Time or Part-Time

Location: Ashford-on-Thames, Surrey (TW15)

‍ We're Looking For Someone Who:

✨ Has previous experience working within a primary school, nursery, or educational setting

✨ Is passionate about supporting children's learning and development

✨ Can build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues

✨ Is patient, caring, enthusiastic, and adaptable

✨ Works well as part of a collaborative team

✨ Can confidently support pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2

Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs, which would be a great bonus

✨ Has excellent safeguarding awareness and a child-centred approach

⭐ The Successful Candidate Will:

Support pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small intervention groups

Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive learning activities

Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to become confident, independent learners

Support children with a range of learning needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed

Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment

Play an active role in supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
