The Role

As a Sports Graduate, you may work as a:

• Behaviour Support Assistant
• Learning Mentor
• Teaching Assistant
• SEMH Support Assistant
• Inclusion Support Assistant
• Sports Coach
• Student Wellbeing Mentor

You'll gain invaluable experience by:

• Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
• Using sports-based strategies to engage and motivate learners.
• Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Working with students with SEMH needs, Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs.
• Promoting teamwork, resilience and confidence.
• Delivering mentoring and intervention sessions.
• Supporting learning across the wider curriculum.
• Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams and SEND professionals.

We're Looking For

• A degree in Sports Science, Sports Coaching, Physical Education or a related subject.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence working with groups and individuals.
• A patient, resilient and positive attitude.
• The ability to build strong professional relationships.
• Previous coaching, mentoring or youth work experience is desirable but not essential.
