The Role
As a Sports Graduate, you may work as a:
- Behaviour Support Assistant
- Learning Mentor
- Teaching Assistant
- SEMH Support Assistant
- Inclusion Support Assistant
- Sports Coach
- Student Wellbeing Mentor
You'll gain invaluable experience by:
- Supporting students on a one-to-one and small-group basis.
- Using sports-based strategies to engage and motivate learners.
- Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
- Working with students with SEMH needs, Autism (ASC), ADHD and additional learning needs.
- Promoting teamwork, resilience and confidence.
- Delivering mentoring and intervention sessions.
- Supporting learning across the wider curriculum.
- Working closely with teachers, pastoral teams and SEND professionals.

We're Looking For
- A degree in Sports Science, Sports Coaching, Physical Education or a related subject.
- A genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence working with groups and individuals.
- A patient, resilient and positive attitude.
- The ability to build strong professional relationships.
- Previous coaching, mentoring or youth work experience is desirable but not essential.
