English Teacher – Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across KS3 and KS4 Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature examinations Monitor progress and implement targeted intervention strategies Contribute to curriculum development within the English department Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management Participate in departmental meetings, CPD, and wider school activities Maths Teacher – Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4 Prepare students for GCSE Mathematics examinations Identify gaps in learning and provide structured intervention support Support departmental curriculum planning and assessment Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom routines Engage in CPD and contribute to whole-school initiatives Person Specification We are seeking teachers who: Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) Have experience teaching English or Maths at secondary level Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and curriculum understanding Can motivate and challenge students of varying abilities Maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour Work effectively as part of a collaborative department Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers.
