- Provide clinical leadership and take overall responsibility for patient care.
- Lead multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk assessments, strategic reviews, and therapeutic planning.
- Act as Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).
- Oversee referrals, admissions, and contribute to pre-admission assessments.
- Provide specialist psychiatric expertise to multidisciplinary assessment, formulation, and treatment planning.
