Protocol Education is seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) within a welcoming and inclusive school in Basildon.

The Role

As a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide tailored support to a pupil with ASD throughout the school day.
Build a positive and trusting relationship with the student.
Support communication, emotional regulation, and social development.
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to ensure the best outcomes.
Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning.
Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
Is patient, caring, and empathetic.
Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Is proactive, adaptable, and positive in their approach.
Is committed to making a real difference in a child's educational journey.
