Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have the patience, resilience, and enthusiasm to help young people achieve their full potential? We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in specialist and mainstream schools across Bath.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and complex needs.

The Role:

✅ Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
✅ Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons
✅ Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills
✅ Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
✅ Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
✅ Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and wider support staff

We Are Looking For:

✔ A caring, patient, and adaptable individual
✔ Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable adults is desirable but not essential
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
✔ Graduates, support workers, care workers, youth workers, sports coaches, and those with transferable skills are encouraged to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
